Kesiu! I'm Aarit! We may have met in Liguistics! It is also my task to ensure the pronunciation of people, places, phrases, and more! These archival writings of Absathus' language are a conduit to understanding & communication! This tool is to assist the people of Absathus into a better knowledge.

Places
Abarahkt (Ah-bah-rack-t): City of the dead. Final resting place of the people of Absathus. Most oftenly believed by those of Khet.
Abesh (Ah-besh): Continent created by Absathus for the Nar'kesh.
Anattali Temple (An-uh-tal-lee.): An ancient temple erected by the first Unannaki.
Arast Palace (Ar-rah-st): Home of the prophesied queen Hunara.
Arnak (Ar-n-ack): The ancient capitol of Har'ket. Its architecture displays its aggressive beauty and dislike for the Upper Kingdom.
Adak Territory (A-dack.): Is a gathering of ancient villages built into the sides of Kartika Canyon. Inhabited by the Noth'ra.
Avak Territory (A-vack.): Located in Tarva Mountains where the inhabitants build their homes within the base of the mountains. Inhabited by Noth'ra.
Az'aad (ah-zaah-d): The largest Tarkan library in all the realm. It is visited by many outsiders and is rumored to contain all the knowledge and texts dating back to the first sons of Absathus, the fall of Har'ket and how the many descending races came to be.
Bateri Province (Bah-tee-ri): The "war province" of the Akenset and Zaripet.
Demiri (Deh-meer-ee): The dark waters that surround or inhabit Empelium Plataris.
Desiir (Dess-eer.): A fabled city said to be erected by Khepf from the bones of Kar-hotep...A legendary leviathan called a Narkoth.
Desiir Palace (Dess-eer.): The most beautiful structure to exist within the Desiir Ocean. It is the home of Khepf and his wife Tiri and their children and many grandchildren.
Edaris (Eh-dar-iss.): Coral gardens.
Empelium Plataris (Imp-l-ee-um Plah-tar-is): Deep plato or trench in the Desiir Ocean. Void of light.
Etem'kah (Eh-tem-kah.): A place of refuge and defense against the Zaripetian forces.
Hadinad Palace (Ha-din-nah-d): An ancient palace of the Tarkan still in existance. It is a heavily guarded city and is considered impregnable.
Hansansin's Lair: Tarkan assassin guild.
Helais Bay (Hell-i-ah-ss.):
Kartika Canyon (Kar-tee-kah.): Rocky canyon home to the Noth'ra clans in Har'ket.
Khara Desert (Kara): The largest region in Western Abesh.
Lahua (La-hew-ah.): A spiritual people of the southern Unannaki region.
Lower Kingdom: Har'ket...Land of the Noth'ra.
Menda Keep (Men-duh.): A walled fortress surrounding the city of Etem'kah.
Mizat (meh-zah-t.): The Northern capital city of Eastern Abesh.
Monus Sineus (moh-nus. Sin-ay-us.): "One of Flame". A circular or crescent arrangement of minor active volcanos in the center of Dimiri's foreboding waters.
Mt. Mensopu (Men-so-pu): Active volcano centered in the Tarva Mountains.
Myresus Reef (My-ray-sus.): Formations created by the volcanic deposits left by Monus Sineus.
Namerai Swamp (Nam-eer-ai.): A deadly swamp rumored to devour and trap the souls of the living.
Namia Hadin (Nah-mee-ah. Had-in.): Tarkan shrine built in honor of the first Nar'kesh.
Nasab Temple (Nah-sah-b.):
Nazem (Nah-zem.): Capitol of the Upper Kingdom.
Nu'aat (New-aht): The Afterlife.
Pandesia (Pan-dess-ee-uah.): Great city that surrounds the Desiir Palace.
Plains of Dust: Wastelands of sand that surround the Upper Kingdom.
Port of Noth'Tar (Noth-tar): Eastern port city said to be the source of Khet's wealth.
Semna Palace (Seh-m-nah.): Semna Palace is a sacred home to the reigning descendants of Tanzu and Iritet.
Saisir Temple (S-ai-seer.): Ancient temple dedicated to the worship of Khet.
Seru Desert (Seh-roo.): A once-beautiful land now rest in ruin after the Great Devide.
Shadin Nitaar (Sha-ah-den. Neh-tar.): City of might and birthplace of the Four Princes.
Sha'li (Sh-ah-lee): Eastern Flatlands of Abesh. Unannaki Territory.
Tarva Mountains (Tar-vah.): Great mountain range surrounding Mt. Mensopu.
Thawar Temple (Thay-waar): A place for gruesome sacrifices to their chaos god and to honor their creator.
Teiza (Tee-zah.): Holy city. Teiza is also the second most populated region in Eastern Abesh.
Tepeu Forest (Teh-peh-yu.): Home to the Lahua tribes of the Unnanaki region.
The Badlands: Settlements forged by criminals and outcasts from all over Absathus.
The Mother Obelisk: Sacred temple erected to honor Hunra.
Tolnoch (Tall-nock.): The second most forested region within the Zalhua territory.
Upper Kingdom: Khet...Land of the Nazemi.
Uthos Temple (Ou-th-ohs.): The second most beautiful structure is centered in Pandesia.
Zalhua (Zal-hew-uh.): A war-like tribe of people located in the northern region of Unannaki.
Zarabesh (Zah-rah-besh): The western desert plains of Abesh. Tarkan Territory.
Zarwat (Zaar-waht): Fortress and inland port for merchants but also a defense fortification.
Ziir (Zeer.): Fishing village along the Zyanya River.
Zyanya River (Zee-ah-nee-ah.): River inhabited by the people of Ziir.

Abishai (Ah-bish-ai): A spiritual or holy guardian spirit that appears before the dying. They protect the souls of the dead in their journey to the Nu'aat.
Absathus (Ab-sath-us): God of all gods and creator of Absathus and Abesh.
Dari (Da-ree): Wife of Tarkan. First Tarkan Queen.
Har'ket (Har-ket):Son of hunra, brother to Khet.
Hotep (Ho-tep): The God of Passage.
Hunra (Huun-rah): Goddess and wife to Absathus.
Khepf (Kep-ph): God of Water, Guardian of the Seas, King of Desiir.
Khet (Ket): Son of Hunra, brother to Har'ket.
Nar'kesh (Nah-r-keh-sh): A race of humans created by Hunra and Absathus.
Takir (Tak-ear): An Unannaki clan of spiritual warriors.
Ta'kem (Tah-kim): God of Chaos, Son of Anefet and Har'ket.
Tanu (Tan-oo): Daughter of Khepf. Sister-twin to Tanzu.
Tanzu (Tan-zoo): Son of Khepf. Brother-twin to Tanu.
Tarkan (Tar-kan): Son of Hunra and Absathus. Second of the two civilizations of Abesh
Nefili (Neh-fee-lee): Untamable fire deity named by Khepf.
Tiri (Te-re): Khepf's wife and Queen of Desiir.
Unannaki (Un-na-na-ki): Daughter of Hunra and Absathus. First of the two human civilizations of Abesh.
Xoma (Sho-mah): Husband to Unannaki, First Chieftain of the Unannaki Tribe.

Dur-zinta-kardal (Der. zin-ta. Kar-dall): Festival of Lights.
Khan'dar (K-ahn-dar): Tarkan marriage ceremony.
Khan'ra (K-ah-n-rah): Tarkan courtship ceremony.
Saknu (Sah-k-new): Horn Dismemberment. Commonly used as punnishment. The Saknu is performed in the public square for all to see. It is a symbol of shame and a damage to the pride of the Nazemi people. The Nazemi believe that it is a punishment worse than death.
Torvah (Tor-vuh): Red Moon. An event that occurs once each year for three days. It is a time of great spiritual awareness for the Unannaki Tribes of Abesh.

Ahua-kin (Ah-hoo-ah-kin): The Unannaki meaning of farewell to wish good will and fortune.
Enniad (In-nee-ad): Council of the gods.
Great Divide: The result Har'ket's rebellion against his father.
Ti'harth-kun'ah (Tee-har-th. ku-nah): A formal or sincere greeting commonly used among the Nar'kesh.
Ziir-Kah (Zeer-kah): Title given to a cheiftain of an Unannaki tribe. Ex.: Xoma was the first Ziir-kah of the Unannaki.
Monsters & Creatures

Sarkoth (Sar-koth): A Sand Wyrm that is 200 feet in length, has four eyes, a wide mouth with four rows of razor-like teeth. Tusks of ivory protrude from its bottom jaw while spikes run the length of its back.
Narkoth (Nar-koth): The notorious aquatic beast known as Kar-hotep. A massive leviathan similar to the Sarkoth. Kar-hotep was defeated by Kheph and its remains used to construct the fabled city, Desiir.
