Q: How do I join?
A: Each person will be given a two week trial period. In which during that time, you may only partake in lesser ranks. Such as a soldier if you are male or servant for female applicants. This is to help build character, learn the story and should you leave...It will not have any major impact on Absathus.

Q: What type of group are you?
A: We are a story-based role-play group. Everyone earns a specific role. We are a group of serious role-players who enjoy the power of the imagination and the thrill of adventure.

Q: What if I am a multi role-player?
A: You can be a multi role-player but your character will be chosen by the list of races that are in Absathus. You can read about them in the "Races" tab listed above on the menu.

Q: Do I require a name change?
A: A name change is NOT required and you may do so if you wish. However there are or will be more than one House or Clan/Tribe that exist within Absathus. Your name may be based on the race and region your character is from. We also understand that not everyone can afford to get a name change or have more than one account. We ask only that you list your chosen name in your profile that will be posted on the website under Characters.

Q: What style of role-play are you?
A: We are a T-!, semi para, para and/or novella group. However we will not complain if your posts run a tad short. We value quality over quantity.

Q: What is OOC?
A: OOC stands for "Out Of Character" This is the time when we are not actively in a role-play. If a role-play is in session, please use the appropriate brackets so that others may know the difference. We try to keep OOC to a minimum. Otherwise, please use "Whisper" if you have VIP. However we do have a room designated for OOC. "Absathus OOC"

Q: How is a character created?
A: Your character will be created with the information provided by the races and classes provided in the Races and Classes page under Characters. If you have any question regarding your character creation, we are glad to help!

Q: What is the dress code?
A: The Realm of Absathus is very similar in looks to Ancient Egyptian. Thus depending on your character, you will be required to wear themed clothing. We discuss this further when you receive your trial or your trial has been completed.

Q: Are you intimidating outside of role-play?
A: No one should ever feel intimidated or in any means lesser. All players are required to have a sense of humor, respect, understanding, and helpful towards others. Drama is NOT permitted and will be dealt with immediately.

Q: Do you mix RL (Real Life) with role-play?
A: No, we do not and expect others to know the same and the difference between the two. This group is not a dating group. Any relationships must be role-play only and may not be existing relationships outside of the group.

Q: How old is this group?
A: "Legends of Absathus" is a new group that is in the stage of development. We hope to have many years of honorable players.

Q: How do I report a problem with another player?
A: The person making the complaint must have screen shots taken and sent to my Discord which is listed above under Contact. Every participant is required to treat others how they would want to be treated. Violators of this rule will be dealt with once proof has been provided. We are all adults and I expect everyone to behave like one.
